Hello from... Everywhere?
Hi everyone - I'm been following these forums for several months and finally decided to join. I'm an active duty Army officer so I move and travel constantly. I used a bunch of advice on this forum to help prepare and pass the Civil Construction PE exam in October and want to help the next group of PE's. Seems to be a very positive and professional atmosphere here which isn't always the case on online forums.
Hello from CA
Hi everyone,
I am from CA and also a long time lurker
:) I am glad this forum existed since it's very useful and everyone is friendly.
I am taking the review course Civil PE Surveying Review by Kirk Torossian for CA Survey test in April 2017. Does anyone have experience with the review class and whether TI-89 calculator is allowed on the test?
Hello Everyone

:D
hope your all doing fine and wish a good luck for the once who want to pass and others Big congratulation for Passing the Exam
Hello from Mass.
Thanks to those who set up these boards. They were helpful in my passing the FE. Again.
I took the EIT back in the late 80's and it was only when the exams were recently reorganized, introducing more topics, that what I am practiced in seemed to finally qualify. My EIT expired before I sat for the PE. No matter, the studying for the FE was a good mid-career review.
I am now on the preparation road to the PE in electrical and electronics.
Any advice is welcome!
Hello (Howdy) from Texas!
Hello everyone!
I just passed my FE Exam on my second attempt. I will be taking the Civil/Transportation PE Exam in April 2017 and am excited for this new challenge, but very nervous. I don't know where to start studying... I purchased the CERM, Six minute problems, and NCEES Practice Exam.
I look forward to learning from this forum and contributing to others through my experience.
Co Op or Internship
I'm a Civil Engineering student and my school is asking me to choose either an Internship route (graduate in 4 yrs while getting 2 summer internships) or a Co-Op Route (graduate in 5 years with approx. 1 1/2 yrs of work experience). While both routes are good, does the job market view the extra time as much more valuable than internships?
Howdy Gents & Ladies
I am a 25 year old Traffic Signal Systems Senior Engineer with a large local municipality in North Carolina. I am taking the Transportation Depth PE exam in exactly 84 days for the first time! Looking forward to being active on this forum as a way to calm my nerves (newborn in the mix).
Mechanical engineer new to the boards
Hi! Long time lurker of the forums but never got around to signing up. I am a mechanical engineer in California doing HVAC & Plumbing work for a small consultant firm. I just passed the PE test so decided to sign up to the forums
:).
Hello, from the big square
Hello all. I'm a newly licensed PE from the big square state. I lurked during my studies for that exam and keep coming back so I figured I'd make an account and participate. The learning does not ever stop in the engineering world and this is a good community here. Hope to be able to contribute every now and again.
Three Moment Equation
Hi, I'm a civil engineering student. I want to know that do I need any factors to multiply in dead load or live load to calculate with three moment equation?
Hoping replies..... with much thanks
