ROBOTIC Software and tutorials
Dear All,
What are the available software that we can use to ROBOTIC learning and simulation
I need to design robot arm and simulation using software
What are the software that are using in the industrial level for Industrial automation and robotic developments
I am very grateful if anybody can help me in this regards
Thanks in advance
mz80 And picbasic pro 2.60
Hello everyone.
I want to programming a mini sumo robot,
i have pic 16f628a, mz80 sensor(e18 d50nk), cny 70 or qtr1A....etc
i am using pic basic pro 2.60.
my circuit working in the isis but i can't programming mz80.
how can i programing mz80 sensor(e18 d50nk).
Thank you
LED Reverse Polarity detector with buzzer indicator
Hi all,
Required your help to do a simple project to detect a reverse polarity of thru hole LED for testing 12 individual LED in a fixture .
Currently we use manual kit with pogo pin give which is connected seriously with external DC power supply source,so when we insert fixture with LED to the kit ,it will contact to the pogo pin and light up.
Required your assistance for building simple project to detect any reverse polarity or no light up with a buzzer sound
LJ Electronics ATLAS robot
I recently accquirred a robot made by LJ Elecronics in the 1980's. This was a 'carboot' find from a ham radio electronics fair. Although in a sorry state I plan to get it going again.
I have done a bit of interweb searching and now have the user and technical manuals.
After lots of messing around with infrared tx/rx alignment and a bit of logic probe fault finding I now have the robot at 'Total Coincidence' - Datum position .
I'd like to get the ATLAS II eproms as that firmware offered acceleration and deceleration.
Does anyone have any other info for this robot, spares, software, bits and bobs gathering dust?
Also if anyone has any info on programming from the BEEB i'd be really grateful.
help in stepper motor
HEllO
I have a stepper motor
stp-42d208
1.8DEG/STEP 2.6V 1.2A
taken from a copier
and I cannot find it's datasheet
Can anyone help me to deal with this motor also tell the maximum ratings ?
Thank u in advance .
Building homemade laser hair growth machine
Hi guys,
I purchased this laser diodes (650nm) and am waiting for them to arrive atm.
I want to create a standing laser growth machine for hair (simply a stand so the lasers can point down onto the scalp)
The thing is i am an absolute rookie when it comes to setting up the 100-120 diodes with a power supply and switch so i can turn it on and off.
Can someone please give me a comprehensive guide that a noob could understand, i will send $$ to the easiest to understand (probs around $10)
unmanned ground vehicle
Hi, I am working on design of an unmanned vehicle , i want to know how to choose a communication channel or device. I have to transmit 640 x 480 px at 10 frames/sec. and area to span is 500m or more Non Line of Sight. I have read about XBee will it suit my requirement ? is this calculation correct: 640 x 480 x 10~ 3mbps is the data rate. If anyone has worked on this please guide me..
LVDS to CSI-2
Hello,
I'm trying to take data from tamron's camera MP1010M-VC (LVDS), to HummingBoard-Edge, with iMX 6 i4PRO (MPI CSI-2), I would like to use some FPGA for example Altera Cyclone V with development board, any tips or ideas how to make this connection?
Thanks
HELP! Teacher in need of some programming advice for Parallax BOE-Bots!
Hello,
I am a Technology teacher now assigned to teach a robotics course using Parallax Boe-bots! The problem is I have never worked with these before have no idea where to begin.
I have figured out how to make the boe-bot travel autonomously forward 10 feet, stop and turn on LED's for 10 seconds, but I want to have the robot turn 180 degrees and return.
Could someone help me out with a simple program to accomplish this?
Shaded Pole Fan Motor - Speed Control Question
Hi, I'm new here.
We have an oven with a shaded pole AC fan motor - 120VAC, 40W, 3K rpm (the inserted photo is very similar). Since the oven manufacturer cheaped out big time, the plastic fan wobbles badly, generating a very loud vibration noise. I'd like to slow the fan down. I figure that 50-75% speed will eliminate the noise while still providing the cooling the oven requires. I tried a ceiling fan speed control, presumably triac based, but it works too well, slowing down to about 25% speed. While messing with that, I discovered that the fan slows way down when my bench vise jaws clasp the magnetized stator. Further experimentation revealed that any sizable ferrous metal also slows it down. I'm sure I can find just the right size to bring the rpm down to the range I want.
My question is: Will the shaded pole motor be happy with this chunk of metal attached, or will it overheat or otherwise fail?
