Hi ALL,
I have a GE PQMII,Redlion Data Station & GE LM90 30 PLC
I am trying to map data out of the PQMII to Redlion using Modbus-RS485 and then using Ethernet (TCP/IP) to map data from Redlion to GE LM 9030 PLC.
I know Modbus uses hexadecimal and PLC Registers are in Decimal
I need a technical procedure on how to configure/program

Scada Problems analogue signal 4-20mA drive stroke Actuator motor of pump
Hi,
Need some advise as I am having a pump with automatic stroke control by analog 4-20ma
There is input signal and feedback to Scada.
What i experienced,issue.
There is unknown interference that drift the actuator forward and backward.
We measured the input signal using milliam multimeter in series. It is constant in input.
Another issue when the VFD motor off, the stroke signal is deifting by itself. Not sure if there is possible intereference or rootcause that can be narrow down in the case of troubleshooting analog signal.

SBC PCD4 manuals
Hello,
I've been lookin' for (pdf) manuals for some SBC PCD4 modules. Unfortunately, these modules aren't officialy supported by the manufacturer anymore, so the manuals are to my best knowledge almost impossible to find.
Therefore, I would like to ask, whether anyone of you have (or know the requisite links for) PCD4.B9xx, PCD4.N2xx and PCD.M1xx manuals.
Thank you and best regards
Fuses and PLC Question
Hello,
In my facility, I have three PLC input cards connected next to each other (SLC 500 1746-ia16) controlling several field devices. On each input (16 total) of the cards, I wired a 100ma fuse to protect the inputs from blowing. After several months of the cards working, numerous inputs on each card blew; however, their fuses did not blow. I examined the inputs on each card and saw that the resistor got blown. Could it be possible for it to be a voltage issue? Some of the field devices are powered by different 120v sources. Do you guys have any suggestions on what the problem is?
Regards,

Omron Syswin
Hi,
I'm working on a machine that has an Omron CPM 1A PLC in it.
I have the *.SWP file (program for this machine).
I have the programming cable.
I have SYSWIN 3.0. It will not install on any of my computers.
Will SYSWIN 3.4 run on a Windows 7 64 bit system?
Will the *.SWP program work with SYSWIN 3.4?
Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the Omron software I need?

Programming LOGO 8
Thought this was shareworthy, as there is no information broadcast from Siemens about it, I had to figure out with the help of a guy in Germany...
If you (use Siemens LOGO, I'm sure there's at least 1 or 2 people besides me) and got the latest 0BA8, it had an unannounced firmware upgrade I think towards the end of 2016.
Using the Logosoft Comfort software, you need to upgrade to version 8.1.0. This is usually done quickly and easily through HELP-Update Center from the menu along top of screen.
You must open the software/program "as an administrator" or it won't work.
So once you've got 8.1 installed and running, you have to check the FW version of your 0BA8:
-Diagnostics
-Software
-FW version
If it's 1.08.03, you have to select the PLC Type (bottom right of LSC screen) "LOGO!8.FS4"
If it's 1.01.01, you need to select type "0BA8.Standard"
I had our guys send a PLC back thinking it was bad because it wouldn't take a program, when the new one came in and had the same problem, I dug a little deeper and discovered this. Hope it helps someone!
