Introduction to Raspberry Pi 3 B+
Hi Guys! Hope you are doing well. I am back to give you a daily dose of useful information. Today, I'll discuss the details on the
Introduction to Raspberry Pi 3 B+. It is a small board computer, introduced by Raspberry Pi foundation in 14th March 2018 and is the most recent version of the Pi boards.
It is a modified form of its predecessor Raspberry Pi 3 B that was introduced in 2016 and came with CPU, GPU, USP ports and I/O pins. Both versions are almost same in terms of functionality and technical specifications; however, there are some exceptions in the B+ model as it comes with USB boot, network boot, and Power over Ethernet option that are not present in the B model.
Technology has been evolved over time with the purpose of making lives easy and convenient. This device was a major development in the technology that made computer learning too easy that anyone with little effort can make their feet wet with the process.
In this tutorial, I'll discuss each and everything related to Raspberry Pi 3 B+, its main functions and features, benefits and everything you need to know, so you find all information in one place without wrestling your mind on the web surfing. Let's dive right in.
Introduction to Raspberry Pi 3 B+
- Raspberry Pi 3 B+ was introduced by Raspberry Pi foundation on 14th March 2018. It is an advanced version of Raspberry Pi 3 B model that was introduced in 2016.
- It is a tiny computer board that comes with CPU, GPU, USB ports, I/O pins, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB and network boot and is capable of doing some functions like a regular computer.
- Features of the B+ version are almost same as B model; however, USB and Network Boot and Power over Ethernet facility only come with B+ model. Also, two extra USB ports are added to this device.
- The SoC (system on chip) combines both CPU and GPU on a single package and turns out to be faster than Pi 2 and Pi 3 models.
Improvements
- The model B+ stays ahead in terms of processing speed and comes with an improved wireless capability.
- The dual-band WiFi 802.11ac runs at 2.4GHz and 5GHz and provides a better range in wireless challenging environments and Bluetooth 4.2 is available with BLE support.
- The top side is painted with metal shielding, instead of plastic in the earlier models, that acts as a heat sink and drains the excessive amount of heat if the board is subjected to the high temperature or pressure.
- This B+ model is three times faster than Pi 2 and 3 which is a major development in terms of speed, capable of executing different functions at a decent pace.
- The ethernet port comes with 300 Mbit/s which is much faster than earlier version with 100 Mbit/s speed. It is known as gigabit ethernet based on USB 2.0 interface.
- Four pin header is added on the board that resides near 40 pin header. This allows the Power over Ethernet (PoE) i.e. provides the necessary electrical current to the device using data cables instead of power cords. It is very useful and reduces the number of cables required for the installation of a device in the relevant project.
- PoE works only in the presence of PoE hat.
Raspberry Pi 3 B+ Pinout
Following figure shows the pinout of Raspberry Pi 3 B+
- 40 Pin header is used to develop an external connection with the electronic device. This is the same as the previous versions, making it compatible with all the devices where older versions can be used.
- Out of 40 pins, 26 are used as a digital I/O pins and 9 of the remaining 14 pins are termed as dedicated I/O pins which indicate they don't come with alternative function.
- Pin 3 and 5 comes with an onboard pull up resistor which 1.8 kO and Pin 27 and 28 are dedicated to ID EEPROM. In B+ model the GPIO header is slightly repositioned to allow more space for the additional mounting hole. The devices that are compatible with the B model may work with the B+ version; however, they may not sit identically to the previous version.

Should You Build Your Own VPN From Scratch?
Hi Friends! Hope you are doing well. Today, I'll discuss and highlight the main question relating to VPN -
Should You Build Your Own VPN From Scratch?
We all know how important and valuable VPNs are. Using them to get Netflix’s or Amazon’s full catalogs is one thing, but the security benefits are vital. Without a VPN, your data is up for grabs. And while a VPN cannot fix all the privacy issues of our current reality, it does make you more difficult to infiltrate than most others. You should also have a look at
How to use VPN, if you are not already aware of.
Should You Build Your Own VPN From Scratch?
- Subscribing to a VPN service is easy and not all that expensive, but if you want control over your VPN, making your own might be the best option for you.
- It’s not that difficult to make your own VPN, and won’t cost you an arm and a leg. Let’s take a look at the options and then consider the pros and cons.
Get a VPN router
This is obviously the simplest method, considering that you won’t have to build it from scratch. And it’s definitely not a waste of money. A good router is an investment – not that it’s that expensive anyway. Many recent routers come with built-in VPN capabilities. This is certainly the best option if you don’t want to worry about the technicalities.
Building a server from scratch
The alternative to simply buying a router with VPN capabilities is to build a dedicated VPN server from scratch. For this, you will require a device that is always on and connected to the network. Apple and Windows both have built-in capabilities that will turn your device into a VPN server, but they don’t really offer the optimal level of security.
An easy alternative is OpenVPN. Open source software is always a good option, and OpenVPN certainly works well enough to justify it as the perfect choice.
Is it worth it?
Setting up your own VPN is relatively simple and cheap (if not free). But is it worth the effort?
Well, it depends. If you're using a VPN primarily for security, you might feel more comfortable setting up your own, rather than connecting to someone else’s servers. This way you know that your data isn’t being stored.
That said, reputable VPN providers are probably not storing your data and, unless you have
any reason to suspect any different, I’d trust them. The issue then becomes cost. While the average $10 a month is not so bad, it’s yet another monthly payment that just adds up.
If, however, you're using a VPN to get past the regional blocks imposed by Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc., your own VPN won’t be very useful. A paid provider like ExpressVPN has servers around the world. Even if you live in the US, you're not getting the full Netflix catalog. You can check on uNoGS.com whether a series or movie you want to watch is on somewhere else in the world and use a server in that region.
The price of a VPN doesn't have to be as inhibiting either. Most providers offer an annual option. If you pay for a full year at once, you'll save as much as 40% on some of them.
Use your own discretion if you want to create your own VPN. A paid provider is not a bad option, but nothing beats the peace of mind you'll feel with your own.
That's all for today. I hope I've given you everything you need to know about setting up your own VPN. If you are unsure or have any question, you can ask me in the comment section below. Thanks for reading the article.
Benefits of App Subscription Service for Writers
Hi Friends! Hope you are doing well. Today, I'll discuss the details on the
Benefits of App Subscription Service for Writers.
The life of a writer is one of the most challenging ones. You have read and kept all your important notes. You have to gather all the knowledge you can from different sources. Then you have to meditate and stay fit. You also have to protect your work and ideas. All this means that you will need dozens of apps, not just to help you with your work, but also in addressing different aspects of your life.
As a writer, you need a wide variety of apps, not just to help with your ideas and core work, but also for supporting workflow. There is no longer any need for spending all night to download every app that you will need. It is easy for a writer to have more than a hundred apps on their Mac.
As a writer, you are going to deal with a wide range of content. And this includes textual and visual content, which means you will need apps to work with image editing and even for videos.
Subscription Benefits
There are many additional benefits of choosing app subscriptions:
- Much lower entry costs
- An assurance that the app will survive for long
- No more annoying ads that come with free apps
- No need to install dozens of apps, one at a time
Cost Factor
So when you use hundreds of apps, does that mean that you should be spending hundreds of dollars a month on just apps? This is where a comprehensive app subscription service like <a href="
https://setapp.com">Setapp</a> comes into the picture. With monthly plans starting from just $9.99 and access to over a hundred apps, writers cannot ask for more.
Setapp offers dozens of apps that helps writers to focus on what matters most: on content creation, and then there are dozens more on workflow management, research, productivity, and much more.
If you would be eager to spend more than $7/mo for Netflix, would it be difficult for you to pay $9.99/mo for apps that help you become a better and well-organized writer? And this includes apps like Ulysses that cost $4.99/mo if you were to choose them individually.
Preserve & Access Your Creative Work
A unique advantage of choosing an app subscription service for Mac like Setapp is that you will have an assurance that the apps are going to remain available in the future.
When you create your content through an app, you put your work at risk of loss. Subscription service offers the most trusted apps in the industry, and it comes with an assurance that you can expect the apps to stay here for the long-term. Such providers also protect your interests under their terms and conditions.
In fact, such subscription providers can keep your data safe and accessible even after you have unsubscribed from their services. This is not expected when you choose to install a standalone app. This is a significant factor that works in favor of the subscription service.
Enter the Free Trial
Mac app subscription services like Setapp also provide free trial without any need to provide your credit card details. You can try such services for a week, and if you are not satisfied, you could cancel.
There is no risk of the service provider charging your card, which is something different from most of the subscription services available out there on the Internet.
Thus, there are many reasons for writers to choose an affordable subscription service that comes with lots of value addition. From creative writing tools to image editors to productivity tools, you can find everything that is required to help you become a better writer.
That's all for today. I hope you have found this article useful. If you are unsure or have any question, you can ask me in the comment section below. I'd love to help you in any way I can. Thanks for reading the article.

How to Create SEO Optimized Content?

How to Create SEO Optimized Content?
This is the fifth article of the SEO series. You can check my previous article on structuring the
blog post URL.
Content is the king. You have heard this phrase plenty of times and still you are unable to resist its sheer magnetism. Apart from having an outstanding website design, quality content is another way to attract visitors and have them stayed on your site for a maximum period of time.
A huge round of applause is due for the people who think creating content is enough to attract visitors and attain top spot in the search engines. This would be true if you were creating content 15 years ago when there was no competition. You cannot grow and excel in your relevant niche if you fail to create content that seduces both search engines and visitors.
When someone comes to your blog or website, they come up with some idea of getting value in return for their valuable time they spend on your blog. You cannot create a post about anything all the while ignoring visitors' needs and demands. Before you create content, you must have a proper content strategy in place that helps you stay above and beyond of your competitors.
I have combined all
SEO tutorials on a single page where you can get all posts related to On Page and Off Page SEO.
In today's tutorial, I'll unlock the things required to create top-notch content for SEO that helps you get more visitors on your blog and makes your content appear on the top of search results. Let's get started.
How to Create SEO Optimized Content
You must consider the following points before you create SEO content for your blog:
- How it is relevant
- Contains the main keyword
- Brings value to the visitors
- Comes with Quality
- Conveys the main idea
Creating an SEO optimized plays an important role in On-Page SEO. Most of the people are quite familiar with the word SEO-Optimized Content, but, those who are not, I'm going to make it clear in simple words.
What is SEO Optimized Content?
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is a list of tips and techniques required to make your blog optimize for search engines. When you are talking about search engines, you are mostly considering three main search engines i.e Googles, Bing, Yahoo.
Content is a data and information spread across your website that conveys the main idea what your blog is about and what types of major services you are providing to the potential visitors. There are two ways to speak your heart out i.e. written content and graphical content that contains videos, infographics, and interviews with influencers.
- If we combine the two terms above, we can conclude, SEO Optimized Content is a way of creating, analyzing and modifying your content for search engines that help you gain more traffic and increase your sales.
Following are the main practices you can do and make your content optimize for SEO and attract more visitors.
Main Goal
Start your work with the main goal you are trying to achieve. Write the main points that you want to target. It depends on the nature of the blog or the product you are offering. Creating content merely with the intention of getting blog traffic can put your reputation at huge risk.
Of course, you want more traffic but you can't create content for the sake of traffic only, this will badly affect your reputation, that ultimately increases your bounce rate and visitors won't prefer coming to your website again.
Keyword Research
Keyword research is the next step once you are clear about your main goals. The main keyword is a word people choose when they look for a specific query on the internet. It can be a single word or a combination of words. Keyword research involves, how your main goal is achieved by targeting the main words people mostly use to search for a specific query.
There are many online tools you can use to do keyword research including
Google keyword planner is free of cost. You can use other tools also by signing up to free trial version. However, you need to pay for getting premium membership. If you are new you can start with Google keyword planner.
Avoid Keyword Stuffing
Avoid keyword stuffing is an advice frequently used, and seeing its importance, I'm mentioning it in my post as well.
- No need to put the main keyword plenty of times in your post. Doing so will be considered as manipulation and Google will take no time banning your content.
- Whenever you create the post, put the main keyword in the sentence where all words support it and fit naturally in the post. Don't use a keyword for the sake of mentioning it anyway.
Analyze the Content
You can't create content and get away with it. You need to keep a deep eye on the post that is widely shared and accepted by the number of visitors.
- If your main focus is on social media, then you can use our Social Media Counter that helps you get a number of social shares of a certain blog post. This will help you optimize your content and create it more content that is getting more number of shares.
- You can also curate and optimize the posts that are continuously overlooked by the visitors. Analyzing and accessing your content can save you a bunch of time that you waste creating content which is not quite in line with the requirements of the visitors.
- Google analytic is another tool to look at the statistics of your content that help you create the content
Longer is Better
Research shows longer content is better than a shorter one in terms of SEO. If you are creating content quite often, you keep the length of the post as short as 600 words; still, it depends on the nature of post you intend to create. Writing a content for product descriptions may contain less than 1000 words. However, if you are creating content that mainly addresses the major concerns of your visitors, then the content must contain at least 2000 words.
- Google prefers the content that is in-depth and brings value to the visitors.
When you create longer content, you come with a higher chance of optimizing your content for more number of keywords. Sometimes it happens, you create content around a specific keyword, but your content gets optimized for other keywords.
Don't Compromise on Quality
I hope you are convinced why longer content is better. However, people feel quite overwhelmed when it comes to creating a longer content. Becuase, for longer posts, keeping the attention of visitors intact is not an easy job. People don't have enough time to spend plenty of time over your webpage until you succeed in conveying your main idea quite impressively without losing the visitors' interest.
- No need to write a post in a hurry. Take your time and don't compromise on quality.
- Make it easy and simple. Avoid adding difficult words in your post (except where necessary).
- Add sentences in your post that make sense
- There must be flow in your article that visitors don't feel hesitation in gliding from one sentence to another.
- Once you create the post, rest for a while before editing it. When you take some time, you can have a fresh look at the content.
Fresh Content
Keep updating your blog with fresh content every now and then. Google prefers the blog who are updating and creating fresh content quite often.
- Creating a post on the daily basis sometimes look quite intimidating when you have to focus other areas of business as well. You can hire the content writer for this purpose.
- However, if you running your blog or business single-handedly, then two posts per week would be enough to stay alive in the eyes of Google search engine.
Include External and External Link
Links play a vital role in making your content appear quite often. Both external and links are equally important to gain more visitors and help visitors stay on your site for plenty of time.
- Interlinking your posts with other posts in the same domain will bring your older posts upfront and help in the page ranking.
- Give value to the external links where it's due. If you think the post you are creating needs some external links, then don't hesitate to mention and add those links in your article. This will indicate you are not only concerned with financial gains but also help others appear in front of potential visitors.
Convey One Idea At a Time
When you aim to create a blog post, try to target one idea at a time and produce a post around it. If you fill up the post with too many instructions and ideas, it would make difficult for the visitors to digest the main concept easily.
- Instead of making paragraphs too long, make content attractive with the number of headlines, bold characters, and each paragraph contains not more than 3 to 4 sentences.
Create List or How to Posts
Your chance of appearing on the top of search engines multiplies when you create quality content, better than competitors in your niche.
- Content that contains a number of lists for doing the specific task will attract more traffic. Similarly, starting your post title with "How to" post seems quite catchy and provokes people to click on your post.
- Creating a content such way is very competitive but still holds some value. When you see some blog post is giving solution of a certain problem by 10 ways, you can come up with a post that gives a solution to the same problem with 12 different ways.
Include CTA
You can include CTA (call to action) at the end of the post. This can range from subscribing a newsletter, downloading a free ebook, to getting free offers.
- Every post is created with some purpose in mind. Some people are merely concerned with the traffic and some want to increase their sales. Include CTA that resonates with your requirements and helps visitors solve their problems.
Writing a Quality Post in 45 Minutes is a Myth?
Searching for the post title seems quite enticing and attractive which reads "Write Quality Post in 45 Minutes". I got a hands-on experience in article writing before I started managing the article writers for content creation. After having words with them for the time they spent on article writing, I came to know writing a quality content varies from person to person.
Some are able to produce an exceptional post in 45 minutes and some struggle after spending too time much in writing.
Some people claim they create a quality post in 45 minutes. Just to let you know, they are referring here writing time only that doesn't include
- Research process
- Editing process
- Blog post title
- Interlinking,
- Image creation,
- Meta description
- And making your post ready for your blog.
After spending too much time on blogging and article writing still, I take 5 to 6 hours for writing 2000 words post including all prerequisites before I hit a publish button.
No need to worry if you can't create a post in 45 minutes. Take as much time as you can. If you try to copy others and create content in a hurry, you most probably lose real essence in your writing.
Point is, don't compromise on quality for the sake of writing content quickly.
If you are new to blogging or pretty nifty about your skills, make sure, the content you create must come with excellence and bring value to the visitors.
Final Thought
- Content plays a vital role in bringing more traffic to your blog. Quality content not only comes with a higher chance of appearing on the top of search engines but also brings value to the visitors and helps them stay longer on your website.
- Make your content relevant and optimized around certain keywords.
- Longer content comes with more value than a shorter one. However, never ignore the importance of quality content for the purpose of creating longer content.
- Create fresh content quite often with the intention of keeping visitors' demands on the top.
- No need to copy others. Come with your own idea. Or if you are inspired by someone else's idea, grab the main concept and incorporate it into your own words.
- Never forget to add CTA at the end of the post.
That's all for today. I hope you have got a clear idea about creating SEO optimized content. In the next article, we discuss
Alt Tag and how is necessary for image SEO.

How to Structure Blog Post URL - Best Practices Tips and Techniques
Hey Guys! Hope you are doing well. I am back to give you a daily dose of useful information. Today, I'll uncover
How to Structure Blog Post URL - Best Practices Tips and Techniques.
This is the fourth article covering a complete SEO series. You can check my previous article about
Meta description where you learn the tips and techniques required to write a compelling meta description.
When you are writing a blog post, you must be considering a lot of factors that help you stay on the top of search results. You cannot write a blog post without any proper
SEO strategy in place and pray for the post go viral.
The URL is the web address specifically allocated to every webpage. No one can find your data on the web without a URL. Does it affect ranking factor? Everyone is concerned about this question. The answer is yes it affects, but not as much as you consider it to be. You must be giving attention to other parts of SEO without obsessing too much with URL structure. If you know how to structure your URL, only a few minutes are enough to do it a right way.
Getting a top spot on the search results is more like a science which requires proper planning. Proper optimization of a blog is divided into several steps, if every step is done a right way, even if it brings 1% value, they all add up and help your data appear in front of the relevant visitors.
Similarly, making your post URL optimized and readable brings more value and help you convey the main idea without much effort.
Before we move on, you can also have a look at an ultimate guide of
SEO tutorials where I have combined all articles pertaining to On Page SEO and Off Page SEO on a single page.
In today's tutorial, I'll cover each and everything related to optimizing URL, benefits, best practices and everything you need to know. Let's get started.
How to Structure Blog Post URL
Before we move on and learn the best practices to structure URL, let's define it first.
What is URL?
The URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator, is a specific web address allocated to the certain web page. Every webpage is created with a unique URL.
The URL of the page is no different than the physical address of any house. Every place on the earth comes with specific address i.e. its location, area, street number house number which is different for every place on the earth. Similarly, every webpage is created with a unique URL which is actually a virtual address of the webpage that helps you find the relevant data on the internet.
- Question is how do you optimize your URL? Or is it okay and allow WordPress picks up and selects it according to the title of the blog post?
Stay with me, I'll help you step by step on how to structure your URL and make it easy to read and easy to digest. Following are the main points you must be considering before you intend to structure URL of the blog post.
Add Keyword
Until now, you must have heard the importance of keywords and how they can help you stand out of others. You must add the main keyword in the URL of the post. It is okay to place it anywhere in the URL, however, it is preferred to place it in the begging of URL so It conveys the right idea about the nature of the blog post.
- Brian Dean from Backlinko and John Lincoln (CEO of Ignite Visibility) advised picking one or two keywords per URL.
Avoid Keyword Repetition
No need to repeat the keyword in the URL. Keyword repetition is pointless as it carries no weight for search engines.
It is considered as a keyword stuffing where you add keyword more than once to manipulate the search engines and allow them to prefer and find your data quickly across the web.
This practice was useful before Google's new algorithm named Panda and Penguin came into place.
Number of words
Choosing a right URL for lengthy
blog post titles is a little bit tricky and requires sometimes to make it sweet and short so it conveys the right idea using less number of words. Before I suggest you choose the right number of words, check the words by Matt Cutts about the URL of the post.
In
this interview with Matt Cutts, Matt mentions the following regarding the length of your slug:
"If you can make your title four- or five-words long – and it is pretty natural. If you have got a three, four or five words in your URL, that can be perfectly normal. As it gets a little longer, then it starts to look a little worse. Now, our algorithms typically will just weight those words less and just not give you as much credit."
So, make it short and try to deliver the main idea using less number of words.
Must be Specific
Making URL generic is practiced by a number of bloggers, however making it specific is a right approach to structure URL. Suppose you have written a post about On Page SEO, There are two ways to structure URL for this Post
- www.domain.com/seo
Former is quite relevant but doesn't make URL unique and specific to the blog topic. Later is a better way to pick URL that conveys the right idea that post is mainly addressing On Page SEO.
Adding Categories
Allocate one category to the post and then (if needed) place subcategory further to make it more specific
If you are talking about the certain team then you can add subcategory further
- www.domain.com/cricket/teams
Make it more specific if you are talking about a certain team
- www.domain.com/cricket/teams/england
And if you are talking about any player then you can do this way
- www.domain.com/cricket/teams/england/players
The more you make URL specific, the more it is easy for the visitors to hunt down and reach a specific content.
Adding Numbers in URL
Some people add numbers in the URL. It is okay to add numbers but not preferred. Let's have a look at the following example.
You may struggle, if later, you come up with an idea of modifying your post and create a better version of it and stay alive in search engines.
In the example above, you want to add 5 more ways to save time and make it valuable and productive, then your post title won't match with the URL once you modify the title and make it "20 Ways to Make Your Time Productive". I hope you get an idea.
As an added note: There is no harm of adding numbers in the post unless you are sure, you are not going to edit and modify the title in the future.
Long vs Short
Shorter is better in terms of structuring URL. Google prefers posts that are in-depth and come with more number of worlds, however, it is acceptable for written content only. In terms of SEO, short URL comes with more value and delivers the right idea more precisely.
Picking long URL can put the visitors in difficulty where they feel skeptical about the main idea of the post. The more you specific using less number of words, the better. We can see the following example.
The first method is not preferred. If you see the second example, it conveys the main idea quite impressively without using "how to". and "home based jobs" because when you have already mentioned in the URL that post is about online earning, then no need to make it longer by adding "home based jobs", as it's pretty obvious when you are referring to online, you are making it clear, it can be approached anywhere in the world i.e.home, office or any remote location.
Avoid Stop Words
Stops words are not preferred in the URL. These words are just used to connect the two words and indicate if a subject is singular or plural.
The above words are known as stop words. These words are necessary to make the content grammatically correct however, they are not preferred to be added in the URL.
Google won't be giving any warning if you use these words, however, these words hold no weight in terms of page ranking or SEO.
Search engines prefer URL that is short. You must remember two things
- It is preferred to skip these words if the URL makes sense and conveys the right idea
- With that being said, if you think skipping these words would make URL weird and senseless, then there is no harm including these words in the URL.
You may feel difficulty in structuring the URL at the start of blogging, however, with practice, you will grow and able to make clinical URL structures that make sense with a minimum number of words. It is all about practice and how quickly you learn and make yourself adaptable with the SEO protocols and practices that help you stay ahead of your competitors.
Avoid Special Characters
You must avoid adding special characters in the URL. Search engines don't prefer them in the URL, as they are not SEO friendly.
Following symbols are considered as special characters
?
<, >
"
!
/
When you are creating a web post, you are focusing on the best SEO practices to make your content stand out and appear in front of maximum potential visitors. In terms of SEO, adding special characters is not a good practice and strictly prohibited by the search engines.
Include Hyphen, Avoid Underscore
Adding hyphens in the URL is acceptable and common practice by most of the bloggers. In fact, when you create the URL, the words appearing in the URL are already separated by the hyphens.
If you search for something on Google, it automatically splits your query with a hyphen in each word and can better understand your problem and pull up the most relevant information.
Same works for structuring URL i.e. when you add hyphens in the URL, you are making your words clear and specific and quite in line with the best practices for SEO.
Final Thought
The URL of the post is very handy when it delivers the right idea with a minimum number of words.
Make it short, sweet and readable.
Adding more words would make your URL weird and difficult to digest.
Avoid special characters in the URL.
No need to repeat the main keyword more than once. Adding one or two keywords in the URL is good practice.
Include hyphens and avoid underscore.
No need to add numbers in the URL. If you do, you won't be able to edit and modify the number in future.
That's all for today. I hope you have got a clear idea about the structuring of URL. In the next article, we discuss how to write
SEO optimized content that helps you attract a number of visitors.
If you are unsure or have any question, you can ask me in the comment section below. I'd love to help you in any way I can. You are most welcome to share your thought about structuring URL of the post. Thanks for reading the article.
How to Organize and Manage Final Year Project?
Hey Friends! Hope you are doing well. This is a platform where we keep you updated with a major development in engineering and technology. Today, I'll uncover the details on How to Organize and Manage Final Year Project?
You get rolled in the first semester of engineering, and within no time, you will be attending your final semester. Each semester helps you make a better version of yourself and allows you to convert your knowledge and expertise into reality.
When you reach the final year, you need to develop a final year project. This word looks quite intimidating for some students and they feel quite overwhelmed before planning and managing their project. However, if you have a proper plan in place and work with consistency, there is no need to worry about the completion and execution of a project.
In this tutorial, I'll help you step by step how you can stay organized and manage your final year project pretty well. Yes, hard work is the key to success as long as you are doing it smartly. If you dive in with no proper plan in mind, your success would be on shaky grounds.
Let's get started.
How to Organize and Manage Final Year Project?
There are many factors affecting the final year project. You must be considering some points before you intend to work on your final year project.
- What is the scope of the project?
- Deadline
- What can you achieve?
- Report Writing
Final year project starts with the proposal. If you give relevant proposal pertaining to the scope and advancement in the field, there is no chance your proposal gets rejected. Yes, you may fail plenty of times before you succeed in giving a practical proposal that you can deliver within time. No need to worry if you fail as long as you learn from it.
Allocation of Tasks
Most probably, three to four students are included in each project. If you are a leader of the project, it is your duty to allocate each task pertaining to the expertise of each student.
It is quite obvious not every student comes with similar knowledge and expertise. Some are good in circuits, while some are pretty nifty about mechanical work. At the very least, some don't take interest in technical work and love writing and other stuff in this regard.
Keep Supervisor in Touch
Keep your supervisor in touch with each and every development in the project. This is the best way to keep supervisor updated so he doesn't feel he is left out in the process.
You are going to develop the whole project, supervisor will just put you in the right direction. Don't get into the illusion that he will do each and everything for your project.
Time Management
Time management plays a vital role to develop the whole project within the due date. When you break down a big mountain into small steps, this would make things quite easy and hassle-free.
Don't fall a prey to starting project 2 or 3 months before the due date. Most of the students don't give much attention and think they will complete a project in the last couple of months. This is not the right approach. If you work this way, you are not going to learn much and there is a possibility you can't complete the project within the given time period.
Key to success is start working on a project right after your proposal gets accepted. Don't rush in, just go with the flow, step by step and work consistently. This will make your work easy where you can test and drive innovation in your project.
Selection of Components
Selection of right and relevant components is a prerequisite for making a dynamic project. As per time limitation, you cannot test a number of components for your project. Do your proper research and select the most relevant components that resonate with your project.
If you are related to electrical engineering, then PCB development plays a vital role to put your whole project in a running condition. PCB is used to connect the number of components on the board. You cannot put your whole project at risk for the sake of getting low-quality PCBs.
If you intend to get accurate and precise PCB, your first preference must be
PCBWay. This company keeps students' demands on the top and provides quality PCB. We have personally tested them and they didn't fail to satisfy us every single time. Each PCB comes with accurate layer placement. There are no broken layers that weaken the connection between the components.
Don't Worry if Things go Worse
You are working very hard in every aspect for making your project on time. The time comes when nothing works and every step you take and every move you make pertaining to the project goes worse. Don't panic if you fail.
If things don't work in the same way, you can test a different way to approach the same thing. You must keep your supervisor in a loop and keep him updated with each and every development in the project.
Report Writing
Report writing is essential to turn your hard work and each development in the project into words. You can start report writing at the start of the project. However, some students prefer report writing at the verge of project completion. You can pick any method that suits you best.
Which method you pick, don't forget to write the main points along the course of the whole project execution. You may forget some points at the end of the project i.e. the difficulties you faced, things that didn't work.
It is wise to write main points and difficulties you face as your project goes, and then add all these points in your final report in a descriptive way.
That's all for today. I hope you have got a clear idea about project management. However, if you are unsure or have any question you can ask me in the comment section below. I'd love to assist you according to the best of my knowledge. Thanks for reading the article.
How to Create a Jet Fighter Model in AutoCAD
Hey Guys! Hope you are doing well. Today, I'll unlock the details on
How to Create a Jet Fighter Model In AutoCAD.
The drawings were published on the Internet * and represent several types, 22 cross sections (fuselage forming elements) perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the fuselage, and a number of additional sections (Figures 1 and 2).
The accuracy of the drawings, of course, is not high, because these are just data for the modelers. We will have to believe this data, take them for truth in the first instance and start creating a digital prototype.
How to Create a Jet Fighter Model in AutoCAD
Where to begin? From converting JPEG to DWG (to increase their self-esteem, this tedious process can be called manual vectorization of vector graphics). One of the stages of work is shown in the pic. 3. Question marks indicate that the decision to choose the accuracy remains for the author of the model creation. Pic. 4 shows how the orthogonal sections and the top view look, the visual style of the 2D framework.
Some sections are not shown, so as not to frighten the unsophisticated reader with the apparent complexity of the proposed construction. Nevertheless, this part of the work should be done very carefully, repeatedly checking all the dimensions, because what will be laid now, we get at the output.
Each of the sections is a closed polyline (pic 5). The pic shows that the new version of AutoCAD 2011 has new handles for editing the polyline. I want to say many thanks to the developers for this tool. When solving such problems, using pens and a convenient context menu saves a lot of time.
Creating 3D geometry
Of course, it is tempting to apply the method of lofting to all sections - from the tail to the cut of the nozzle. The most important thing is that the system will helpfully do it.
The 3D body created as a result of this procedure will be very complex and beautiful, it can be used to create alien ships in fantastic cartoons, but to our task, this, alas, will not work.
Therefore, it is necessary to break the fuselage into several structural parts: the nose, the bow with the cockpit, the middle part, the tail part, the nozzles. Wings, horizontal plumage, and keels were modeled separately. Pic. 6 shows the results of one of the stages of work.
It is worth paying attention to the following innovation of AutoCAD 2011 - when creating a body or surface by the method of lofting, you can change the law of lofting after creating a body (surface).
In previous versions of this possibility was not, and to predict the result with a complex geometry of the cross sections is often quite difficult. Pic. 7 shows the highlighted 3D created by the method of lofting, and a drop-down menu, the points of which allow us to choose the law of changing the loft for an already constructed body.
Another new feature of AutoCAD 2011 is the improved choice of sub-objects. To create the next section of the fuselage, the first section is the last section of the previous section. You can select this section by holding down the Ctrl key while selecting the subobject selection (pic 8).
We transform the primitives from which the section is made into a polyline or region (depending on the task), and we continue to create the next section of the fuselage. In previous versions of the system, you had to use the Extract Ribs command, and then long to clean the drawing from the heap of fragments formed - arcs, segments, splines.
The Quick Selection command had to be applied repeatedly, so this procedure was by no means fast. However, even more, effective work to create complex geometry is provided for the first time in AutoCAD 2011 new objects - NURBS surfaces. What do NURBS surfaces "know"? Here is not the most complete list:
- create a very complex geometry of objects, while they obey the laws of Boolean algebra (union, intersection, subtraction);
- create transitions between surfaces;
- Create transitions between 3D objects using surfaces;
- close the surface and create a 3D body;
- cut one surface of the other;
- edit control vertices;
- assign materials to surfaces;
- convert surfaces to 3D and vice versa (with the geometric possibility of this operation).
Pic. 9 illustrates the work with surfaces when creating the nose of the fuselage.
A quite legitimate question may arise: where are the surfaces, because until now we modeled the aircraft with 3D bodies? The answer is simple: this site was too complicated for solid modeling and we turned it into a surface.
Wings, horizontal tail, and keels were modeled again by the method of lofting. The exact wing profiles in the initial data did not appear, so in all cases, a conditional, so-called chest-shaped profile, characteristic of supersonic flow was created. Nasal endings of profiles, arcs of small diameter. The nozzles are simple enough to model with surfaces. Pic 10 and 11 are almost complete work - together with the result they demonstrate another new feature of AutoCAD 2011 - visual styles. Pic. 10 shows the Sketch style, Pic. 11 - Tinted with edges.
The multicolor in Pic. 11 are temporary layers created in order to better distinguish the desired objects. By the way, about the layers. Finally, the seemingly eternal system error, the problem of the letter "b" in the name of the layer, was eliminated. Now, this is a story, with which I congratulate all users of AutoCAD!
Creating a cockpit
This is one of the most difficult stages in modeling. Its complexity lies in the fact that it is necessary to cut the model created by planes tilted at very intricate angles, then use logical operations to recreate the rest of the model. Pic. 13 shows the result of this procedure.
It remains to convert the necessary parts to the surface and assign a transparent material, but this is the next stage of the work - visualization.
Visualization
In AutoCAD 2011 there are quite a lot of new features, including a material browser containing thousands of professionally produced materials.
This browser is unified, that is, it is exactly the same as in programs 3ds max, AutoCAD Inventor, and AutoCAD Revit. Of course, there was the opportunity to create your own materials from the template and from scratch. In order not to do this, we assign the material to the fuselage aluminum, the lantern to the glass, and the LDPE tube to the chrome steel.
Pic. 14 shows the assignment of materials to the lantern, Pic. 15 - the resulting picture as a whole. Pic. 16 - one of the options for visualization (render) in sunlight.
Conclusion
- This article demonstrates the possibility of creating a model aircraft in AutoCAD 2011. Why do it? What to do about it?
- Calculation of distributed characteristics by the finite element method (FEM)
- Get rid of the materials. Using the Unification command, we create a single 3D object, which we immediately turn into a surface.
- With the help of the available tools, we change the number of partitioning panels, we match the boundaries and send them to the corresponding calculation program.
- Calculation of dynamic characteristics, a creation of the model for wind tunnel
- Get rid of the materials. Using the Unify command, we create a single 3D object.
- We extract the data. Insert the average density, calculate the integral dynamic coefficients.
- To make a model for purging in a wind tunnel using standard tools AutoCAD we will create project documentation and transfer it to production.
- There are a lot different airplane 3D models on FlatPyramid https://www.flatpyramid.com/aircraft-3d-models/. Choose the one you like!
That's all for today. I hope you have got a clear idea about creating jet fighter model in AutoCAD. If you are unsure or have any question, you can approach in the comment section below. I'd love to help you in any way I can. Thanks for reading the article.
How to Write Incredible Undergraduate Essay: 8 Effective Ways
Hi Friends! Hope are you doing well. Today, I'll unlock the details on
How to Write Incredible Undergraduate Essay using 8 Effective Ways
Many students struggle with submitting writing essays while studying in a college, so to make studying years easier it is really important to master the art of academic writing.
Academic writing guide article can be quite useful as far as effective essay writing tips are highly requested among college students nowadays. However, some students due to their tightly planned schedule might not have had enough time to write college assignments, so there are various online resources willing to help.
A student simply needs to log in the website and place an order for any kind of writing type. Nevertheless, if you want to complete the task on your own, you can use the tips highlighted below provided by our
essay writers.
1. Choosing a topic
You need to consider essay writing as an opportunity for you to explore your interests from your course. For instance, you can freely pick a topic where you can express your own ideas. What you need to do is begin by asking a good question, and then you can research and analyze the answers as you choose your best answers to include in your paper.
2. Brainstorming
When you are given a topic to write on, it is very important to start your writing process by brainstorming. What sentences and keywords cross your mind concerning the topic? Using your pen and paper or computer, write the ideas that come to your mind and all the possible answers to your essay question. This will structure your thoughts without having to go through the pressure of coming up with an actual draft.
You can as well decide to use a diagram to achieve this, but you need to keep your thoughts organized. What questions do you have regarding the topic? What are your opinions? Write down anything coming up in your mind. This process is going to help you understand what you already know regarding the topic and what you need to research. The process can also help you not to forget any of your important ideas.
3. Establish an outline
After gathering your points, this is where you now come up with a clear outline for your essay. Where do you want to include examples? You should not get bothered so much that your first draft is not that perfect, simply let your ideas flow as you will take care of mistakes in later drafts.
Essay planning is like a shopping list, it will enable you to address your essay questions in an in-depth manner making sure you include all the necessary points to achieve a well-structured essay. What you need to do is read the essay question many times as you underline keywords. You can then explore the keywords as you write a plan addressing the keywords. This is the part that creates the skeleton of your essay and works to clarify the pointers your readers should expect. It’s important that your points support your arguments.
4. Development of your essay
Use one to two paragraphs to introduce your essay, make sure that it is interesting enough and relevant to capture the attention of your audience. Your introduction should include a short anecdote that points your readers to the topic. You can be creative also by starting the essay with a surprise statement or a fact regarding the topic. It can be a famous quote from a great person. You can then briefly do a historical review of the topic.
